Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Caravan. While putting grocery into the trunk of her vehicle, the vehicle started then stalled on its own. She was holding the keys in her hand and there were no occupants in the vehicle at the time. She also does not have a remote key starter. The failure occurred twice. While driving approximately 20 mph, the automatic door locks activated and within a few minutes while driving the alarm engaged. The manufacturer was unable to offer any assistance. No repairs were made to date. The failure mileage was 101,000. The current mileage was 102,062.

While driving, my Caravan looses all engine power and almost stalls. Took it to the dealer, but since there is no check engine light or code in the system they cant find the fault. This has been going on for over three months. It's sporadic and puts me in a dangerous situation because I lose all steering and brake control, I travel on main roads @55mph. Also, sometimes when I start it up it will idle for a few minutes then either surge to a higher RPM or choke to the point of stalling.
