Door locks, lock and unlock on their own. Will do it anytime, doesn't matter is the car is running or not. Possibility of getting stolen or maybe the door will open while in motion. Happening as I type this...

As I had got off from work today and into my car I noticed my review mirror had fallen off. I can only assume that the heat is the reason it came off. However, I called the local dealership in conyers, ga and was told that I could bring the car in with the issue. I immediately went there as I was only a couple minutes from there. When I get there she tells me something different and I was unable to get my review mirror fixed. I was tired and frustrated. I now can't drive my car and I have to be to work. Is this something that can be fixed quickly as I am a loyal customer of Dodge and have every intention on buying more vehicles from you.

I was driving home from work. My 2012 Dodge Challenger rt stalled and shut off. While driving 70 mph on the interstate. I had the car towed home. Sent to the dealership. They did diagnostic tests. Told me the car had jumped timing. In 2014 there was a recall on the timing chain components. It was repaired in 2017. Now they are saying it's my responsibility to pair for repairs. The engine is possibly blown. How is this on me if the have recalled the parts. I'm not hard on my vehicle. I was driving it like normal and the car quit out of the blue. No warning lights. Nothing just shut off. I still owe lots of money on this car. Can't drive it.

My driver side window constantly rolls up and down and it drains my battery in moments. I dont know if my alternator is going back because even after I replaced my battery 2 times it takes forever to jump my car off. I dont understand how a faulty window can cause this

Battery was replaced because it went dead. Lost power steering. Windows going up and down on their own running down new battery. Found fuse that runs side mirrors and power steering to be good but is showing the fuse box to be grounding out when fuse is removed. I have heard of alot of issues with the windows on this car. Nobody can seem to locate the problem. The car was sitting still and engine not turned on. If I leave windows open, weather damage is done. Dangerous to drive without power steering. Afraid it might catch on fire due to the grounding out. There are no recalls referring to this issue. Why and what can I do about getting this resolved when mechanics can't find the problem?

While parked and turned off window repeatedly lowers and raises itself as if you were opening the door, draining the battery and resulting car not starting. Replacing battery does not fix. Problem has also occurred while driving.

Takata recall. On my 2012 Dodge Challenger srt8 model with the automatic 6.4L V8 engine the alternator just randomly short circuited while I was driving. Luckily I was driving very slowly at that momemt when it inicially occurred. I was on a residencial street then the vehicle just completely shut down. The dashboard lights all started to flash aswell as the stereo monitor was flashing very akwardly. The vehicle no longer turned on & had to be manually placed into neutral to be pushed home. The vehicle will not start even with a jump. If the battery gets charged up independently disconnected from the vehicle it will only give it enough power to start up for just a moment. It has be determined by the delearship that it is the alternator. I came across a public forum that some Dodge Challenger models from years 2011 to 2014 have had the alternator recalled, but this VIN has not been associated with that recall. I have a strong feeling that it should be. Especially since this happened just as described for the models that have had this recall. Alternator without warning has failed on the vehicle.

Windows going up and down about 1/8 inch as if the door is being opened and closed, its causing the battery to die and fail. I read up on this and unfourtunately a Dodge owners are having the same issue. Someone seems to thinks its the latch which has been a problem solver for most customers. There should be a recall in place for both 2011and 2012 Dodge owners for window latch defect

Driver side window goes up and down about every 10-12 seconds when I parked in driveway. Car power is off and no one in car. Started where driver window would not close all the way when door shuts. Lasted about 10 days. I did not drive it as I am a disabled vet and could not climb over passenger seat to get out, or to let window up after door is closed. Mobility/flexibility not good. Rainy season in fla. Finally drove it, window began making clicking sound. Got home, got out of car, closed door and window began going up and down. Car parked with plastic bag over it. Had to leave window partially down to prevent further issues or battery to drain. Now car not secure from theft and interior damage. In search online, this is common problem for 2012 Challenger and recall issued for 2011 Challenger for same/similar problem. Problem is widespread and Dodge answer is take to service center. Service center charges min. $140 just to diagnose then I'm sure repair cost is high also. Its obviously a manufacturer problem and Dodge needs to own it. I just hope my car is not ruined from the daily rain/constant bad weather or stolen or inside damaged. I don't understand why recall is not for all vehicles effected by this issue. Its obvious it is related and very common. Car has 60200 miles. Of course happened just after warranty expired. This is an issue that needs to be addressed and fixed asap. Use to love my car, but now it is useless to me. Been informed also causes battery failure. That's not a good thing to happen while driving. Please help. Please look into the many complaints and issue a recall. Make Dodge own their faults. So now I'm paying for a $30,000 car I cant drive and is sitting outside with plastic over it.

I tired to put the car in park and get out while it was running. Because of the shiftier design it went to 'R' and not park causing the car to start reversing as I was getting out. I was able to jump back in and hit the breaks but the car door hit the garage wall and messed up not only my car door but the wall.

I was backing my car out of the driveway when it suddenly shut down. The Dodge company said there was a recall on the alternator and it needs to replace. After doing the replacement they said my battery was also needed to replaced but because there is a chance that the battery damage was either done by usage or by the alternator they will not replace the battery. The mechanic at Dodge dealer said " through his experience that when a alternator can damage a battery, they will not replace the battery. Through his 14 years experience Dodge will not replace the battery. "

A 35 dollar part has malfunctioned or broken (ac/HVAC blend door actuator). It results in an 800 dollar repair. The vehicle had just passed the 36 month warranty and still has less than 36000 miles to date. If you investigate this problem is widespread among many Dodge owners. It is ridiculous that the quality of said product is so poor considering the cost required to replace it.
