pretty bad they have a recall on them transfer cases for the half ton truck not the dakota, i'm on my 3rd one damn junk, i've replaced with different transfer case instead of the 231 i went with a 242d, fulltime 4x4, but atleast it's not flyin apart yet, give it time i guess interstate driving just kills trucks now a days, what a joke, should have bought another ford.
