Dakota 3.9L 6 cyl

  • Manual transmission
  • 37,282 miles

2000 dakota3.9L6cyl. standard transmission to weak for the truck. It pops out of 1st gear if I try to accelerate too fast, not like smokin tires, but pulling into traffic or starting uphill can't pull my trailer - its too much load .... its a 10 foot zodiac on a custom aluminum frame trailer i move around the driveway with 1 hand. Warranty repaired a few things 6 different times in the shop sometimes for a few days at a time. Warranty expired, spent 1000$ on a rebuild & still happens.
470,000km on a gmc s15 1 rebuild and usual maintenance. 180,000km on a honda civic few oil changes. 60,000km on this dodge over 2000$ in breakdowns not counting the warranty repairs a few tows. thanks BCAA 50$ a year and its parked broken again with smoking brake problems
