Items such as the cover for the visor mirror, recliner lever on the passenger side, and middle cup holder in the back seat have all fallen off or broken with minimal use.
We have had to change the mirror/sunglass holder out several times due to the fact that it would unlatch and fall down when we would hit a bump. Finally, Dodge came out with a fix specific to the problem. Have also had to change out the door that covers the "water cooler" once and had the latch adjusted once because we could not open it. Same thing with the little storage area on the dash.
I assume the warm NM sun is part of the problem, but it bugs pretty bad when you can't open any of the doors to the compartments on your car!!!
The lever/latch on the back storage compartment exploded! I don't know how else to describe it and I'm not sure if it's related to cold weather but it completely came apart. It's a round solid piece that broke in half!!!
I mentioned it to the dealer and they said it is not a "defect" and that it must be related to our use. I pointed out to them that in order for us to have broken this part we would have had to hold a stick above it and push down on it with all of our might! Why would we do that???
Dashboard compartment will not open on its own have to press button numerous times. My mirror cover on the visor flew off hitting my friend in the face when she tried to open it, the emergency brake pedal cover wont stay on, the sunglass compartment spring broke and wont stay shut. Very Very cheaply made interior part!!!!
