On set #3 for tires on this car. Back tires wear so much faster then the front. I have had many cars but nothing like this. I see many Journey customers have the same concern. Hmm Chrysler you think you can fix the problem. Why? just wait for our next bailout. We will save you .

My dealership started to rate my tires at oil changes in the yellow category. They recommended tire rotations, but those did not change the premature wear and balding on the tires. At two years old and approximately 24,000 miles, all four of my tires were balding, getting stuck in very light snow, sliding in rainy condition, etc. Of course my dealership takes no responsibility, Kumo takes no responsibility and I am stuck with tires that were nearly bald after two years and just under 24,000 miles. I have ready about numerous other complaints for this exact model and tires. I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE YOU FROM BUYING A DODGE JOURNEY CREW AND IF YOU LIVE IN THE DETROIT AREA, DON'T BUY FROM SUBURBAN DODGE OF NOVI!

I bought a 2012 Dodge Journey 7 months ago brandnew. I recently took it in for a oil change and tire rotation and was told my tires were too bad to rotate and I need 4 new tires. The car has 17570 miles on it. The tire brand that came on it is 19 inch Kumho tires and they want $1300 for a new set. We complained to the dealership who told us to call Chrysler. We called Chrysler and they want us to pay $80 to the dealership to have a diagnostice test run to see if it is the car or the tires. We just financed $32000 for the car why can't they pay for the test. After complaining we learned from a co-worker he has been through 4 sets of tires in 2 years and had just traded his off. He even changed from the Kumho tires and the tires still did not last. Seems to me that there is a problem somewhere and I should not have to buy 4 new tires when the set I have is only 7 months old.
