The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Journey. While driving various speeds, the contact heard abnormal noises underneath the hood. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the transfer case needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified. The failure mileage was 59,000.
