this problem turned out to be something alot smaller than i thought it was going to turn out to be. the car was running like crap. engine idling was bad, loss of power, engine was backfiring, all because it turns out I had bad spark plug wires. they were easy to take off and put on. it caused my service engine light to come on. because it was causing one of my cylinders to misfire. but thats nothing autozone cant erase with a reader.
