- 40,000 miles
I have 40,000 miles on this 2002 Neon. It has the 4 speed automatic. The car came with a 100,000 mile warranty. I am told this car's design is for it to sound like a rattle trap when it is cold or if the car sits for a period of time when you start it up. I have made numerous attempts to get this fixed starting shortly after I purchased this american made junk. Daimsler Chrysler Customer Service People can only say "I am sorry and I understand your problem but there is nothing I can do." I was not given a supervisor upon my request. I wanted to have the chrysler company put in writing that my car is suppose to sound as it does so I can go to the Attorney General's Office. Chrysler's customer service said they had no number to give me to speak to someone who engineered this car. Customer Service sucks as does this 2002 Dodge Neon I paid $14,000 for new.
