valve spring broke causing the valve to drop down. This resulted in 90% of the piston in the bottom of the oil pan. It would have cost more to fix the engine than buy a NEW engine.

Oil light came on and took to my shop, said the catalitic converter was screwed and caused my engine to overheat so badly the engine needed to be rebuilt or replaced. Dodge house in Temple Tx told me this is a common issue with this year truck
