Engine stalled while braking to turn left in a busy intersection. Lost power steering and brakes. Narrowly missed crashing into a light pole. The engine stalling occurred for the first time about three weeks ago. At that time it occurred twice in one week. Took the car to shop where spark plugs were replaced but the problem was not corrected. Engine stalled three times in thirty minutes today.

Truck started stalling a few weeks ago for my wife. I finally had the chance to drive it and it fell flat on its face. My entire family was almost put into a telephone pole at 45 mph since the truck lost all power. This time it didn't stall it just ran with no acceleration and held at 4,000 rpms. Extensive attempts for cooperation by dealership and daimler Chrysler have led me to believe I bought a really expensive coffin. I established the tsb codes w/ both and was left hansen high and dry. I got that " sure we'll help, here' S a new truck but we can't pay off yours even though we sold it to you." And the" we're not responsible for this even though we acknowledge the problem is our fault." I will not purchase a Dodge vehicle again. Shame on Dodge!!!! I don't really blame the dealership, but they themselves should have checked all this with the truck before selling it to me. Daimler Chrysler representatives who decided this isn't a problem should be made should be punished by law to drive these faulty vehicles until they are injured or killed. Maybe then these problems will be repaired.

While stopping at a traffic light the consumer heard a breaking sound from the rear left side, but didn't think it came from her vehicle. Two hours later, the noise occurred again, but louder. The vehicle immediately started spinning in the left direction until it crashed into a ditch and hit a concrete barrier while spinning driver's door opened, and the seat connection in the middle broke. This was a bench seat. The driver's side slid forward, and the passenger's side slid backwards. When vehicle was picked up the rental store mechanic determined that the rear axle broke.

2004 Dodge truck extra cab 1500 has problems of stalling while driving. The dealer flashed the PCM but that did not keep the vehicle from stalling. While driving up a slight grade the consumer heard a clunking noise from the transmission when it went into overdrive. The dealer test drove the vehicle but could not duplicate the problem.
