Ram 1500 SLT 5.7L

I read the post about the doors cutting into the front seals... and had to add my comments. A friend of mine also has an '05 Ram.... and he showed me the same problem with his about 6 months ago... and asked if mine was doing it too. At that point, mine wasn't.... but as luck would have it.... it is now! It won't be long at all til the seals will need to be replaced. BTW, I now have 31,000 miles on my 05 Ram.... the problem started for me @ 25K miles....

I have a Ram 1500 4door, the problem I have is that the front doors are tearing holes in the door seals from the points of the doors. The design is really, really bad because once the seal is torn the wind that comes in is loud and in Cleveland cold as Hell!! Here recently it was 0 degrees I turned the heat from bi-level to the floor and my head got cold. When I took it to the dealer (with 33,000 miles on it) told me it was not covered and it was going to cost me at least $82.00 per door plus labor, I told them it should be under warranty they told me to put DUCT TAPE ON IT!!!! Has anyone else had this problem?
