Ram 1500 Big Horn Edition 4X4 5.9L V8

I have taken my truck to the Dodge dealership in my area three times for a clunking noise coming from the front end as I go over bumps. On the first trip to dealership, they said they could not hear the noise and stated there was "No Problem". On second trip, I had a mechanic go for a ride with me and he heard the noise and stated it was coming from the front end. After they looked at it at the dealership, they said it must be my aftermarket exhaust rattling and to take it to them ( What about noise coming from the front end?) I then take it to the exhaust store and they look at it and say it was tight, and I got under and verified myself. As my truck continues to make clunking noises, I decide to take it to my local Les Schwab store to have them look at it. Within 5 minutes, the technician brings me out and shows me that both front struts are bad, and gets out a new Mopar strut to show me what a good strut looks like. I then call my local Dodge dealership back and explain to them what I have just found out, I even have the Les Schwab technician talk to the guy from the Dodge dealership to verify what was wrong. The Dodge serviceman tells me he will order me new struts and he would call me back. Beings that the Dodge Dealership is on my way home I decided to stop by there and show them the bad struts. I go into service center and talk to the same guy I had just spoken with on the phone. He comes out and grabs the mechanic who had worked on my truck previously to look at my truck. He walks up to my truck and looks under front end and storms away. I follow him and he goes up to the service man and they proceed to have an argument in front of everyone. The mechanic was saying there is nothing wrong with my truck and how could he call him out in front of his peers questioning his work. He then said make him an appointment and we'll put it up on the lift and see whats wrong with it. I have an appointment next Wednesday!

Update from Aug 24, 2009: Follow up: After the Wednesday appointment, I received a call from my local Dodge Dealership stating they had ordered me two new front shocks/struts for my truck and are replacing them under warranty, however, they are on back order status. I just took it in this morning for the shocks/struts to be replaced. I have read alot since this whole ordeal and on the 2006 Ram 1500 Big Horn Edition the failing of the front shocks/struts seems to be a common problem.

Had the same clunking noise whenever i went over a bump. Checked the shocks to see if they were leaking, didnt see anything took it in anyways. Well the shock froze so the truck was using the tire as a shock. This time they replaced both shocks and said thats what they should have done last time they "fixed" them.
