Complaint was made to dealer during a repair to fix driver's door leaking water. Service manager informed me that all 4 rims would be replace, however they were limited to 1 vehicle per month and there were 2 vehicles head of me. I didn't mind waiting my turn. I contacted them in October looking for an eta when the repair would be made. The service manager informed me that other vehicles were now being given priority over mine in addition to the previous 2. She offered no explanation, apology or alternatives. Last week I asked her again for an eta at which point she informed me that there is now an indefinite hold placed on replacement rims for all vehicles and that I would be waiting an indefinite period of time.
Unfortunately now they have left me no alternative but to seek legal advice and 3rd party arbitration through CANVAP. This minor issue is compounded by safety related issues with the truck which due to their lack of cooperation, have left me with no confidence in a resolution otherwise. The only request I made was to resolve the issues.
