Had rotors turned at 31000 miles and at 65000 miles. Now at 90000 miles they need it again, but the thing is now they have to be replaced. Dealer says to go with after market cause they are a lot better. That's what he did. The few things I've had go wrong to the truck is all wear and tear but I never had problems with rotors like this It pisses me off. I had heater and ac problem where it would shift from floor to dash to defrost and sometimes wouldn't switch at all. All this after warranty is out. I was supposed to have the best lifetime extended warranty they had for an extra 2000 bucks, but come to find out it was the next step down. I argued about it but didn't get any where except forking out over 500 more bucks cause no warranty. Thanks for letting me bitch for a while.

Ram 1500 SLT 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

I was informed my front rotors needed replacing by the dealer. Upon removal of the rotors it was plain to see that they were not worn out, instead they were de-laminating at spots. Clearly a manufacturing defect! The dealer made it sound as if they were worn out, not defective. This way they would not have to cover the costs!
