Truck ended up being a TOTAL LOSS. The airbag never deployed and the seatbelt never retracted. I received Head Trauma when my head went into the attached upper Hand Grip near front of Door.
Accident happened on 5/6, I went to Emergency Room due to Head Trauma. I have since been hospitalized afterwards and discharged/released from Hospital on 6/3 due to Bells Palsy resulting from the Head Trauma of the airbag not deploying. I received a stupid letter from Chrysler/Dodge stating that due to an angular impact the deceleration was not quick enough to deploy the airbag. Thus, I have now hired an attorney and am suing Chrysler/Dodge.
I had purchased this 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 brand new off Lot on 8/28/2009. The accident occurred 5/6/2011 and ended in a Total Loss to the Dodge Ram. I will never purchase a Dodge nor Chrysler again. My wife owned prior a 2005 Chrysler 300 and gear shift soon failed. She got rid of it!!
