Could the engineering geniuses, that can't seem to understand that metals expand and contract at different speeds, not mate a cast iron manifold to an aluminum head. THANKS......you are the weakest link "good bye".

Ram 1500 SLT 5.7L Hemi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

Exhaust manifold bolts break causing an exhaust leak. fixed under the mfg warranty. Fast forward to 9/2017 and the exhaust manifold bolts are broke again.

Dodge is clearly good at repairing the issue but not actually fixing the cause of the problem.

I spoke with Dodge Cares who referred me to Dodge customer care...The agent I spoke with kept saying no recall...I told the person your own service bulletin admitted to installing faulty exhaust manifold bolts at the factory...? She stood by her your vehicle is not part of a recall...I am a third generation Dodge owner and this is the crap I get...it appears Dodge careless about loyalty and now so will I.

Someone needs to inform the EPA of this hazard to our air supply... The Hemi Tick on almost all 5.7 Hemi motors is awful... My manifold bolts have broken or backed off just like everybody else's truck... The manifold bolts are faulty and I have been told by several mechanics that if you try and take the manifold off the bolts will sheer off and the repair is very costly...
