After the first time we had a problem with the "engine racing out of control", we have had two more experiences with this problem. Now it will have no throttle response. You step on the gas and nothing. This happened while sitting still, idling, with the brake applied. You let off, step on the gas a little, then more, then more, and suddenly it responds and takes off. This is a little dangerous. I will copy this twice, since it happened twice. It's a throttle control problem.
Again, this has not been fixed by a dealer. I will have to pay for this one.....I will have this fixed tomorrow (at a local mechanic) since Sands Bros. cannot seem to fix this. It should have been covered in the Federal Emissions warranty, or just by default with all of the problems we have had with this truck (see my other complaints with this truck), but Dodge doesn't seem to be interested in supporting it's customer base. I think that Ford is looking better. I just hope our Lemon streak ends here!
