Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

The contact owns a 2001 Dodge Ram van. The contact stated that the driver seat became "unhinged" from the brackets that held it in place, making the seat unstable. The vehicle had not been inspected or repaired at the time of the complaint. The failure and current mileages were approximately 130,000.

: the contact stated while driving 55 mph on the highway, the vehicle hesitated and lost power without warning. It was maneuvered off the road and towed to the dealer, who determined the transmission needed to be replaced. Also, while driving various speeds, the driver seat moved. The dealer determined a bolt fractured and the track needed to be replaced.
