The blower motor only worked on high and eventually knocked the fan off balance due to being on high all the time. Sometimes it didn't work at all. It was the blower motor resister which was a very common problem with the GMC Envoy. You can get the part for $30 to $45 depending if you have auto A/C or not. The cheapest place I found it was at AM Auto here is the link.

If that isn't the problem you may have to change out the blower motor itself and that's an extra $51 or so. Hope this helps.
