We don't have a lot of complaints on file for the GMC Jimmy (although feel free to add yours here) -- it's either not very popular ... or it's very, very good.
The 2000 GMC Jimmy has the most complaints, & the most-reported problem is with the 1995 Jimmy for problems starting.

4x4 doesn't work -- 2000 Jimmy:
I have replaced the in-dash multi switch (4button) and checked the fuses- they are alright. The service 4wheel drive light is still on and the multi switch light on the dash doesn't light up still. have no idea what else I need to do to fix the problem. So far has cost me 60$. Read more »

turns over but won't start -- 1999 Jimmy:
Sounds like a potential fault in design. Mine was fixed by the dealer/garage when I purchased the vehicle. It has to do with the security light coming on when it shouldn't and failure of the vehicle to get fuel. There was a chip in the ignition switch. The ignition had to be replaced. Read more »
