Own 2002 Envoy from GMC, after 15,000 miles developed a grinding noise in wheels.have been back to dealer and spoke to GMC direct.they have tried to correct 5 times.they acknowledge problem in axle.have put conversion kit in to correct, which didn't work.mechanic claims dealership have two other Envoy's with same problem.I believe this maybe a manufacturing defect.they are trying to resolve this problem for me.I am not requesting any help with this issue.I want this at least to be a matter of record for any future complaints which may come your way.
