The contact owns a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. While driving at unknown speeds, the air conditioner unit blew out hot air through the vents. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (becker Buick GMC Inc, 636 East sprague ave, spokane, wa 99202) where it was diagnosed that the air condenser unit needed to be replaced. The freon had leaked out of the compartment. The contact was informed that the parts were on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and opened case number: [xxx]. the failure mileage was 44,127. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
