On 4wd models in early 2000's until '07 the transfer case oil pump is loose and rubs the case causing pin hole leaks which only leak while driving car, so there's no puddles on driveway to indicate a problem. All oil leaks out then, causing transfer case fail. So check oil level often and pull xfer case and install the spacer kit asap. See you tube for videos.
