I carry a 1000W portable battery starter since my last vehicle, and it does start it immediately.

It showed me that the alternator is good, and I am charging it today, but I read it seems to be a common problem with the 2001 to 2018 Terrains. It seems there should be a quick and easy solution to it. Where vis GMC when you need them? I just purchased this 2014 a month ago, and will be going back to the dealership. Something must be putting a light load on the system at all times.

Terrain SLE 2.4L 4cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

I replace Battery on 09/26/20 and again on 05/22/21. Now again on 05/28/22 that Battery is dead. There is something that drains my Battery. If I drive it everyday, there is no issue. But if I let it sit for even two days, then Battery is Dead.

There are no recalls. Every one is complaining about radio draining power when car is turned off. I cannot get an answer from Dealer. I need to find some answers.

Thanks.
