loud roaring noise much of the time. particularly when slowing down I have not had a better car than this Honda! Like it! I purchased it June 2010, with about 30,000 miles. Pristine condition. I think I reported a date wrong for the start of my noise problem, because I think I first noticed the roaring noise problem in early or mid 2011. No notice of a noise problem for months after purchase, from a dealer (BMW). The roaring noise has gradually become more persistance. Not all the time, but most of the time. It becomes louder/loudest when slowing down aroung 50mph. Sometimes now at slower speeds, even continuing when stopped some times. More when car has travelled a few miles??. tapping the accellerator sometimes causes it to cut off (the noise). Sometines leaving my house mornings, no roar at all. Usually more prevelent at highway speeds, although in town driving too. My mechanic found a Tech Bulletin on Honda, about the ANC, noise cancellation system, and guesses that mey be it. Proving he is a good mechanic, he said he is not familiar with Honda Hybrids, and suggested I see a Honda dealer. BTW, I looked on your web site, and found ZERO complaints on 2005 Honda Hybrids?? Do not know what year Mike Bertoldi looked at. I spoke to a Honda Dealer in Bel Air. Not satisfied with them. I spoke by phone to Rose at Cockysville, MD, Anderson Honda.Rose was very helpful! She said if it is the ANC, estimated part at $465, diagnosis at $108, Labor to install, $108. Love Honda - and the Hybrid. The noise has become a pain. Why did you stop hybrids for Accords, and then just start up again, BTW. Thanks for your attention, for the best web site, and look for your response. Thank you. Will someone contact me (email or whatever?) directly? Dan Evans
