The car is 5 months and has <1,200 miles, mainly city miles (not behind semis, other sources of debris, etc). I wash it every few weeks and progressively noticed more and more areas where the paint has entirely flaked off and exposes the metal underneath. It has not been getting hit in the driveway, which is where it predominately sits.

This is not normal wear and tear and appears to be a systematic defect.

Okay, bought this car in August of 2013, got my first chip on the spoiler on the way home from the dealership. I don't tailgate and don't drive fast. Since than, after checking this month, have numerous chips on hood spoiler. Back seat seat belt hit the inside of the door panel, guess what? Paint chip! You need to invest in touch up paint if your going to own a Honda. Disappointed with Honda.

OK, here's the deal Honda, Had One Not Doing Another, got it!
