Under slow speed about 10 mph car was making a left turn in buffalo, NY in late November and slid on ice into a curb(passenger front wheel) and recovered. 3 weeks passed noticed that the ambient temperature in car was reading anywhere from 100 to -40 degrees and then the display would disappear. Also defroster was running intermittently. Took car in for service, they said that temperature sensor attached in the wheel area was damaged along with the wires being corroded that were attached to the sensor. Dealer stated that this could causes a variety of problems later like the defroster shutting down along with any kind of circulation. This could be dangerous in winter. Also, they noted that this would not be covered under warranty. So, mind you if you slid into to anything, this would happen again. I believe that this part could have been placed in a safer spot to avoid this kind of damage. Why would you make this kind of part so vulnerable to the enviroment.

For speeds over 60 mph, car violently vibrated. The first time I took into dealership they said nothing was wrong with the car. The next day, same thing happened at same speed, so I called and demanded they pick up my car and bring me a rental. Learned the propeller shaft had only one bolt half way holding it in place. Only two bolts of 4 were ever installed.

I purchased my Hr-V (ex-L with navigation) in May 2015 and have had this problem since the first week of driving. I was told by Honda service that my Hr-V needs a software update, but that there is not one available yet (it has now been 1 year). When I am driving, at any given moment, the entire display screen goes black / shuts down and reboots to the Honda screen. I have no navigation, radio, bluetooth phone connection or any display whatsoever. When the screen comes back on, it has remembered my destination most times and asks if I'd like to continue to the destination, but this is very unsettling to say the least, especially when I am in an unfamiliar area. Also, the radio freezes up and wont play any sound - using xm radio, ipod, am or fm, nothing comes out of the speakers until I "jar" it by putting a cd into the slot, then I get to hear the cd. This process of the radio freeze ends up locking up my ipod and leaves it unable to reconnect until the battery completely dies and I recharge it and start over the next day. My main safety concern is when the entire screen shuts down / reboots while I am driving and there not being any available fix for this as far as my Honda dealer is telling me.

T.P.M.S. - light comes on regularly, without tires being at incorrect pressures. Random occurrences sometimes tires are low, sometimes they are perfectly set. This is a "safety issue" and concerns me, as this could cause a wreck. The tire pressue monitoring system is faulty, Honda repair facilities have been unable to correct the issue. I have repeatedly taken it to two (2) Honda dealerships' service departments - one in brunswick, Georgia (nalley Honda), and the other was in loves park, Illinois (napleton Honda). Technicians and service managers in both places have stated that Honda "does not have a fix for the issue". I have advised american division of Honda's corporate office in California concerning this issue. This is an ongoing problem, wherein Honda still does not have a fix for the problem. Their TPMS system on the 2016 Honda Hr-V is unsafe, unreliable and will lead to crashes. Thus far, I have been told to simply "perform a reset" if the dashboard light irritates me...

Pedal brake makes a "click" sound when is pressed driving at over 35 mph. Honda service tech at local dealer says is expected as the pedals has links and switches after brake pedal. Louder "click" sounds at the area of gear shaft plastic cover in parking position when car is stationed and brake pedal is pressed. Honda service tech. Says is expected once this model has electronic parking brake with switches in that area. At front of the passanger side in the dashboard a visible line that rises a structure under the plastic liner in a rectangular shape whit a line crossin from side to side, increasing its appearence with the heat by sunlight exposure. Honda service tech. Explains is expected in all this models once the air bag would deploy through that apparent window when is properly triggered. Rear camera images screen sporadically blurs and tremble when is dark and low ouside illumination is present. If window switch is deppressed at that moment either up or down and keep extra pressing would show in the camera screen a low and high discrete illumination, like that seeing in a voltage variation in light bulbs. Since all scans, inspections, and comparisons with alike vehicules, done at the local dealer service deparment, passed as expected, is my personal concern of safety and quality of the product to post and or share this information for possible safety issues that may arise related to this observations.

I've owned my Honda Hr-V for a little over a week now. I've tried nine ways to Sunday to make the seat comfortable -- to no avail. It causes unbelievable pain in my neck, shoulder and jaw. It causes me extreme pain. I ordered a neck support and lumbar support which have helped slightly but not enough. I contacted Honda corporate and they suggested I bring the car to the dealership where I purchased it to have the seat inspected. They could find nothing wrong. Honda corporate called me back and in their minds the issue is resolved as nothing can be found wrong with the seat. I've found countless forums online for many Honda models complaining of the same issues. What can be done about this? there's obviously something wrong with the seat configuration. I have an appointment at the doctor tomorrow.

I am concerned that a safety issue exists on the 2016 Honda hrv ex-L navi that I recently purchased. The issue is associated with the power on/off button that is standard on the ex models. Specifically if you activate the power off button while the vehicle is in drive the vehicle does not actually shut down and will drift forward or backward. It is very possible that you could exit the vehicle and it would start drift until it either hit something or human intervention could be taken. In addition to the Honda hrv, I have a 2010 Toyota prius. When you activate the power off button while the prius is in drive, the system automatically transfers the vehicle to park and completely eliminates the possibility of the vehicle accidentally drifting forward or backward. It should be noted the 2016 hrv ex does attempt to provide a warning that something is wrong. When you attempt to use the power off button to shut down the vehicle while the car is in the drive position the following occurs: - the car sounds like it is shutting down and the dash instruments go blank. - if the door is opened, several beeps are sounded. - in the trip indicator display on the dash, a "power is on" message is presented and immediately followed by a "shift to park" message. These messages are continually repeated. - the car will start to drift until human intervention, it stops on its own or it hits something. This issue has been reported to Honda and my interpretation or their response is as follows: - you should always put the car in park before activating the power off button. - they felt their design was adequate at this time and did not view this as a safety issue. - issue will be documented for possible future reference. In summary, I still feel this is a safety issue that could result in a tragic accident. Fyi, except for this issue, I really like the hrv.

Automobile stalled without warning at low speeds, this lead to near collision at intersection as the car became disabled in the middle of the road, car required multiple restarts to safely get it into a automobile service station; Honda road side assistance dispatched a tow truck and vehicle was taken to local Honda dealership where after inspection I was advised that the vehicle required a new throttle body
