Earlier January 2012 at about 50km/h, I heard a light knock under my engine. At the moment I though I drove over a piece of metal, but soon after I start feeling and hearing this rattle at pull-off and a slight reduction in power. I stay on a hill. When I try to pull into my yard on the slope, the car struggle to pull-off. I removed my left side wheel and saw some oily fluid on the CV joint boot. I took the car for CV joint replacement, but was told that my CV joints are in very good condition. At the workshop I was told that it might be the transmission since I struggle with power. My car is six years old and outside of the warranty meaning that I might have to pay to either fix or replace a transmission.
