Just bought the car used; it seemed in perfect condition...it purred. three days later, the a.c. started clicking and went out completely. it totaled $2000 and change. three days after getting it back, I turn off the engine, and I hear an explosion from under the hood. coolant went everywhere!!! this just happened today, so I'm at a loss for words on what the exact problem is or how to solve it. this car is breaking me...really. the only reason I had to buy the car in the first place is because some guy in a ford f150 huge pickup didn't see me behind him in my honda crx, so he backed up at a red light and hit me, totalling my beautiful front crx-end. his excuse...he just wanted to go eat at a restaurant yet realized he was going to go in the wrong direction if he remaind where he was, so he desided to back up to take a short cut. his short cut has ruined my car, taken all of my money, my time, and my forthcoming future. now I'm stuck with a prelude, just collecting dust in the front of my house for I can't afford to fix the lemon it is. if anyone is thinking of buying a honda prelude...THINK AGAIN!!!! if you don't mind writing out a check everyweek for unexpected expenses, then buy one. you can start with mine!!!
