I have an all wheel drive Hyundai Santa Fe 2009 limited and had a big problem with sudden loud banging noises which would happen when I turned corners. Turned out that it was the electromagnetic clutch or coupler in front of the rear differential responsible for the four wheel drive . The dealer wanted $1800.00 for a new one. I took it to another shop and had the drive shaft removed instead, it now is a front wheel drive vehicle. I will never buy another Hyundai Santa Fe all wheel drive vehicle. Front wheel drives only!
