sand had been kicked up from the road and managed to interfere with the rear wheel sensor. that cause ABS, anti-slip, and awd lights to come on and to disengage its systems. The fix.. removed tire, upper control arm and cleaned the area with a scotch bright pad to remove rust and a small pick to remove pebbles. Next time i'll just run this sucker off a cliff!
