We don't have a lot of complaints on file for the Jeep Cherokee (although feel free to add yours here) -- it's either not very popular ... or it's very, very good.
The 1998 Jeep Cherokee has the most complaints, & the most-reported problem is also with the 1998 Cherokee for dashboard gauges fail intermittently.

shocks and bushes to be replaced -- 1997 Cherokee:
I was warned that many bushes and the shocks were "getting old" and needed replacement...at 195.000Km...all these parts are "imported" and very expensive. the total estimate for parts alone is 3.860 US$. I decided to wait a little longer before replacing. Read more »

fuel pump gave up again -- 1997 Cherokee:
this was the second time I had trouble with the fuel pump. finally a non-jeep mechanic identified the problem and the pump was replaced by a non Jeep pump. the operation cost me 12.5% of what jeep charged me a few years earlier and this new non-Jeep fuel pump is still going well. Read more »
