I just purchased this vehicle and found that all rain and snow ends up inside. There is no visible leak from sunroof, windscreen or doors. Not related to air conditioning as I mentioned snow too. I will take it for repairs.

I realized last weekend that my 2014 Jeep Compass was leaking water through the dome light in the front of the vehicle.

I have to take it back to the dealer next week so I will see what they have to say.

The first time the leak occurred, it was raining very hard and I was driving on the freeway. After about an hour or so, I heard sloshing water when I would turn slightly. Then, when I would turn to the right, water was leaking onto the driver's side floor. Hot water was leaking onto my foot which was on the gas pedal. When I turned left, it would leak onto the passenger's side floor. A day or two later, I noticed a mildew odor.

After the rain stopped, the sloshing went away. A few weeks later, after another rain, and after I had used the A/C defrost, the sloshing came back and the leaks came back as well.

The car is at the dealership right now under warranty getting inspected. They said they couldn't find any problems and couldn't recreate the issue. I told them to keep it until they figured something out.

This is not only an annoyance from water damage and the mildew odor, but also a safety issue from the HOT water dripping on the driver's foot while the car is in motion. This needs to be a recall if any other Jeep Compass users are experiencing this same issue. I have seen many posts about Jeep leaks. Something needs to be done to get this corrected.

This Is the second time this has happened. I didnt know there was a place to report until now. I have done research on the problem and don't understand why Jeep hasn't issued a recall!!!
