Engine siezed at 118k miles. Vehicle was in motion at 60+ mph when the oil light came on, they tried to get off the road and the motor locked up, driver lost power steering, seemed to loose brake response while navigating traffic coming at them at 60 to 70 mph. Vehicle was able to coast to the side of the road. Oil level still in safe range.
Driver tried to restart the vehicle and it would not turn over. Confirmed motor will not rotate. No signs of damage from inside the combustion chambers or in oil pan. Replacment cost cheaper than rebuild.
