Bought the PHEV hybrid in 30 August 2023, went on a long trip with it. Fantastic, comfortable. Get home from trip and start driving to work and back, 6 km a day, 1806km, oil on 0%. Take it in thinking, its a new vehicle maybe that's why, it needs an oil change so soon. (3 November). 27th November, 2115 km, oil life at 0%.
27 Dec, 2425, oil at 0%. 15 Jan 3273 kms, took it on a 600 km long trip, day to day to work and back. 0% oil.
Dealership has been so amazing, my complaint is not with them, it is with Stellantis. First blaming it on my driving, then saying its not meant for short trips, their solution, they will give me free oil changes. So in essence, I have a vehicle that is supposed to be earth friendly, but uses more oil in a month than gas. If this is the norm for Jeep HYBRID, I fail to see the advantages of it. Stellantis has done nothing but try to blame, driving, weather ect. Giving the most generic answers and saying I should have bought an electric vehicle.
Giving me 30 free oil changes is not the answer to this solution, I still have to go take it in for oil changes every month. Bearing in mind, if I do not do an oil change when at 0%, my warranty is null and void. Very, very disappointed with how Stellantis is handling this. They did offer me a discount, if I trade this vehicle in and buy another Jeep, Ram ect. But I will be out of pocket, as my 2023 Jeep, Grand Cherokee PHEV, trade in, is obviously way less than what I paid for it. I would like Stellantis to take responsibility, and yes, I know that cold and driving habits are factors in any vehicle, but is this the norm for a PHEV Hybrid.
