Wrangler Sahara 3.8L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,000 miles

Has been Burning oil since day 1, approx. 1 qt every 1K miles to start and gradually worsened. I have spoke to several others experiencing the same issue, including a close friend.

Additionally, we have had problems starting the vehicle, turn the key and most times it starts after 1.5-2 second delay, but sometimes No start, we wait and try again and eventually it will start if the battery holds up. My wife took it to the dealer while still under factory warranty several times and they refused to acknowledge the problem, once having it towed there after it would not start after fill up, and again they would not address the issue, and tried to say it was the battery.

Wrangler Rubicon 3.8L

  • Manual transmission
  • 1,000 miles

bought this rubicon brand new from day one used oil about a qt every 1000 miles. now its starting to get worse at 64000 miles but chrysler said after 50000 miles 1 qt every 750 is acceptable, acceptable to who, when was the last time you ever bought a new car and it burns oil. chrysler should fix this pos engine and the epa should make them enforce it. like the dealer said, its like a continous oil change, oil is never in long enough to get dirty. i have a lifetime warranty and cant wait for the day for this pig to blow up and then they will have to fix it
