Turn signals stopped working whenever the headlights were ON. turn signals worked fine when headlights were OFF. Jeep would tell me that a "bulb was out." which was not true. After many, many hours on forums found evidence that the ground points in Jeeps were a major issue by many owners.
Cleaning the connection point for the ground in the passenger/front under the hood did not help. then full replacement of the ring terminal and cutting/stripping and recrimping wires in a new ring terminal did finally resolve the problem.
This was after the dealer and many other mechanics just blamed the TIPM. I did install a new TIPM and it did NOT resolve the problems.
