On a trip from Denver to Moab in my Jeep, I encountered problems with the cooling system. While driving up I-70 near Denver CO, the temperature gauge went up the 3/4 mark and held steady while the engine was under load. This continued for a minute or two and then the Jeep lost power and I decided to pull over to the right lane and baby the vehicle up the hill... being passed by every other car on the road. This continued the entire trip... any time the engine was under load, the temperature would rise to 3/4. I took the vehicle to the dealer and they said "This is normal behavior" This problem continues to this day and is easily replicated. I can't imagine that the vehicle loosing power while on the highway is normal...
