I've been dealing with this problem for a YEAR. Initial problem was coolant loss, slight overheating. Spent countless hours and a LOT OF MONEY to fix cooling fan and oil pressure sensor check engine codes. Replaced cooling fan--twice--among a list of other replacements. When the oil pressure sensor was replaced, a coolant and oil leak was found, so seals were replaced. Then, I started losing coolant again and began seeing pools of oil on the garage floor. Today the mechanic figures out it's a cracked oil filter housing and cooler assembly.
THEN I read that broken oil filter housing and cooler assemblies are SO COMMON that Chrysler has stopped making them; that they've known about the problem for a long time and have never issued a recall. This isn't right.
