Purchased new in 2012, and first of all it never got the over 40 mpg that it was advertised when i purchased it. The reason I originally made the purchase was for the advertised fuel mileage. I travel a lot and wanted a vehicle with good mileage, and thought this would be the car. Turns out it's just the opposite. I have taken the car to the local Kia dealership all to be told that if the check engine light is not on then there is nothing wrong with the car and there is nothing they can do to help. I was even willing to pay for a diagnostics on the vehicle and was turned away. I am currently getting 22 to 24 mpg, sometimes less. I find this ridiculous for such a small vehicle to get this type of mileage. I really would like to get rid of it, but really don't want a car payment. Is there some type of recall or fix??!!! Any suggestions would be great!!!
