started using 1 to 3 quarts of oil everytime it idled for a few minutes. There would be a poof of white smoke from the exhaust then the oil would be down 1 to 3 quarts. the white smoke is random and occurs anywhere between every 200 to a 1000 miles driven. It seems more apt to happen when the car is stopped at lights or idled for a few minutes.
