On Nov I4, I turn on my driver side heated seat and less than a mile after leaving from my garage I smelled smoke and a warm feeling on my left side. I was able to look at side where the smoke was coming from and I quickly pull off the roadway avoiding a car and 18 wheeler and notice not only was there smoke but a small fire had ignited. I was able extinguish it. Got an estimate from the Mercedes dealer (seat has to be replaced) to the tune of &1600 plus labor .Mercedes needs to do a recall on that problem before someone is seriously hurt.
