We don't have a lot of complaints on file for the Mercedes-Benz E420 (although feel free to add yours here) -- probably because it's so old, no one bothers to post complaints anymore.

computer keeps tripping trans into 3rd gear -- 1997 E420:
The computer keeps resetting the transmission auto shifting system; allowing the trans to only shift into 3rd and reverse.
