This is the third time in 100K miles. Each time the belt breaks without warning and cost me up to 905 to fix. My mechanic(s) say they cannot find the cause. I purchased car at 79K miles and now it has 172K miles and has been through three belts. I was told by several sources that these belts should last 50k miles each. I long for my 1994 E-Class.
