Summary
Complaint The mirror glass of the outside mirror is actuated in the wrong direction when retrieving the memory position or retrieving the position of the curb detection automatic system. Left outside mirror: Left/right actuation swapped around Right outside mirror: Up/down actuation swapped around Example: When retrieving from the curb detection automatic system (engaging drive mode R), the mirror moves upward instead of downward. When engaging drive mode D, the mirror moves downward instead of upward. Note: The directions for glass adjustment are correctly actuated through use of the mirror glass adjustment switch. Cause Glass adjustment motor installed with incorrect setting. Remedy Exchange glass adjustment motor.
