The contact owns a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis. While driving 45 mph, debris from the preceding vehicle struck the roof of the contact's vehicle. The failure caused the paint to chip. The contact took the vehicle to a mechanic and they stated that the paint was delaminating. The insurance company stated that the vehicle was destroyed. The powertrain was unknown. The current mileage was 60,000 and failure mileage was 50,000.
