My car was garage kept and had less that 30,000 mi when we obtained it. I feel that the roof paint should not have started pealing like this. Generally rest of the car paint is very good except for the roof at the center front and rear about 5" both of these 2 spots.

The back bumper paint is bad but it is not factory. It was repaired after an accident by a local body shop. (This is not part of my complaint.)

I called Ford but they said there is no recall. Yet I have talked to other Grand Marquis owners and they had the same problem. Plus I see other Ford automobiles on the road with the same problem. Sad & embarrassing .

Paint is peeling like it was finger nail polish..Has always been garaged. I have seen numerous other Mercury's and Ford Crown Vic's do the same..This is just plain poor workmanship...Tried to get Ford to acknowledge problem but refuse to accept vault.

FORD HAS REFUSED TO HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM AND CLAIMS THAT THERE HAVE BEEN NO OTHER COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE PAINT.
