This needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY. This is a REAL DANGER to the driver, passengers, and other drivers on the road. I have talked with the dealer to see if a recall has been issued for this complaint and to date nothing. I guess Ford will fix this only after it CAUSES A DEATH TO SOMEONE. had dealer fix problem 2x

The seat automatically moves back to the exit position while driving. It seems like it has something to do with the ignition. I notice when I touch it this happens. The outer ring on the ignition also seems loose but won't tighten. Wondering if the weight of all my keys on the ring caused this. Brought it to my local mechanic and he mentioned taking the seat out and tracing wires. I think he's clueless.

Mountaineer Premier V6

When you are driving down the road with no warning, the drivers seat will go back on its own. Hard to reach the brake pedal back there. There should be a recall for this problem. I am sure if an accident happens and a life is lost Ford will sure hear about it, but isn't that a little late to fix a problem you know is going on.
