(reported on)Sable LS V6 24 valve
This car was a well maintained cream puff until catastrophic failure. This is the kind of engine failure that just should not happen in a modern vehicle at this mileage. It is startling that the engine was 15000 miles short of its first tune up, and is now worthless junk.
A manufacturer should be embarrassed, even shamed that such a thing happened. Ford showed only polite indifference believing that by golly the warranty is expired.
Well that is true, but this fellow buys new cars and trucks and I will never buy a Ford again, nor recommend one.
